Swiss Engineering Meets Contemporary Design

LINK's distinctive boomerang shape isn't just iconic—it's functional. Natural light from all orientations, thermal efficiency from the double-skin façade, and floor layouts that adapt to how modern companies work.

The Boomerang Concept

The curved, boomerang-shaped floor plan emerged from a simple insight: traditional rectangular buildings force offices to face either east or west, leaving half the space in shadow for half the day.

LINK's gentle curve provides natural light from all orientations throughout the day. No dead corners. No permanently dark zones. Every desk position has access to daylight.

The shape also creates protected outdoor spaces at each level, sheltered from wind yet open to panoramic views of the Alps and the Jura.

Double-Skin Glass Façade

The double-skin glass façade isn't decorative—it's a precision thermal system. Two layers of glass separated by a ventilated cavity that naturally regulates temperature, dramatically reducing both heating and cooling costs.

Thermal Efficiency

The air cavity acts as insulation in winter and ventilation in summer. Result: Minergie certification and years of verified actual consumption data.

Acoustic Insulation

Despite the glass-forward design, interior noise levels remain remarkably low. The double skin absorbs external noise before it reaches the office environment.

Natural Light Optimization

Maximum daylight penetration with controlled solar gain. Motorized blinds between the glass layers provide glare control without blocking views.

Flexible Floor Layouts

Each floor can be configured as a single 2,700 sqm space or divided into units as small as 270 m². The boomerang shape naturally creates distinct zones.

Typical floor showing divisibility options
2,700 sqm
Full floor for enterprise headquarters
900 sqm
Third-floor division for mid-size teams
270 m²
Smallest unit for focused teams or satellite offices

Design Philosophy

LINK was designed by architects who understood the specific requirements of the Swiss business environment: precision in function, restraint in decoration, and uncompromising quality in materials and execution.

Every design decision was tested against a simple question: does this serve the people who work here? The boomerang shape, the double-skin façade, the floor divisibility—all emerged from functional requirements, not aesthetic whim.

The result is a building that performs exceptionally while maintaining the understated elegance expected of a Swiss headquarters.
